Differences between OpenVZ and KVM VPS

The main differences between KVM-based VPSs and OpenVZ-based VPSs are:

  • Your VPS has its own kernel.
  • You can now virtualize machines in your VPS.
  • An LXD agent is launched on your VPS and allows us to access your machine in case of a support request.
  • A Zabbix agent is installed directly on your VPS. It allows to display monitoring information on the client panel.
  • It is possible to mix performance, SQL and VPS services on the same dedicated performance.
