Assigning the management of your WordPress to an external provider without providing them with your access to the WPServer console is useful in the following two cases:
- When you manage several sites, and you want to assign a dedicated webmaster (or several) for each site, so that he can perform the tasks you have given him.
- When you are a webmaster and you need to group the sites on different accounts of your customers whatever its platform. At that time, you will find the sites in question in a single interface.
Register a technician for a site
In this case, you don't want to entrust your access to just anyone. Whether it's an employee or an external service provider.
This operation is only available after a WordPress site has been created. The registration of a technician must be repeated for each site.
The first step is to access your client interface, which you can find on our this link.
Click Sign In once again. WordPress+ hosting in the left menu.
In the console follow the button MANAGE.
Click Sign In once again. Manage a technician at the bottom of the page.
In the window that opens, click on Generate to get a token.
You must copy this token in order to transmit it to your webmaster.
The creation of the token and the installation of a site is automatic, on the other hand, the creation of the Webmaster account is manual. The opening of a support ticket by the webmaster is mandatory to access the Webmaster console the first time.
If the webmaster does not have an account, he must indicate it to us by opening a ticket to register his e-mail address and create his account.
Once created, the webmaster receives an e-mail with his account information.
If he already has an account, he will be able to connect to it and must click on Add a WordPress and copy the token provided by the account holder.
Revoke access to a site
The account holder can revoke the access token for a webmaster at any time from his console.
To do this, click on Manage a technicianThen click on the cross in front of the technician you want to remove.
Access the webmaster console
Connect to the url : https://console-webmaster.nuxit.com/
Identify yourself with the access codes received by email, then click on Add a WordPress.
In the page that appears, you will have to copy the generated token.
When the token is entered correctly and is valid, you can see the added WordPress.
- The usual functionalities are found. Only the reset and deletion of the added WordPress are not possible.
- The passwords and accesses are common to the webmaster and the account holder.
- Changes to passwords are notified by email to the holder for information.
- Webmaster and account holder actions are available in the History tab.
