Edit my WordPress domain

By default, when you create a WordPress, we automatically assign you a temporary URL in the following format: user_wordpress.pf.nuxit.com.

If you want to use your own domain name, you must change the pointing correctly.

Basically, if your domain name was not purchased from Magic Online, you must make sure that it points to our server, with and without the WWW.

Once the score of your new domain name is up to date, feel free to follow the propagations on the tool DNS CHECKER.

Then follow the button Change the domain name to register the new domain.

The interface shows you the IP addresses of the pointing. Put your domain and check the box Automatically add the WWW subdomain.

The interface will show you that the change is in progress and it will take some time to apply.

A few minutes later, you will see the change applied.

IMPORTANT

Remember to update the links in your WordPress database.

Return to the domain temporary

If you don't want to use your domain name anymore, you can go back to the temporary URL we provided you when you created your WordPress

To do this, go to the console and click on the Back to Nuxit temporary NDD.

IMPORTANT

Remember to update the links in your WordPress database.

Impact on referencing

Since we do not block search engines, there is absolutely no impact if you switch from another host to us using your personal domain name.

However, if you change your domain name, you will have to notify the search engines, because they do not know the new domain and know your site under the old name.

In this case, you will have to go to your Google Webmaster Tools account and redirect the old domain name to the new one.
