Plesk: Access my MySQL database

In this guide, we will see how to access a database created on the Plesk interface.

Note

This guide is dedicated only to our subscribers who have subscribed to the former Plesk shared hosting packages (SMART, DISCOUNT, PRO and SECURE).

The first thing to do is to go to your customer interface which you can find the link to on our showcase site. Once there, click on Plesk > My Plesk (Manage my subscription) > menu Databases.

Click on the link phpMyAdmin.

You can do database import/export from phpMyAdmin interface. You can also add/fill tables, etc.

NOTE:

  • It is not possible to remotely access the database for shared offers, because the servers are filtered.
  • To do this, you will need to go to the VPS offer or Dedicated.
