In this guide, we will see how to verify the ownership of its website with Google.

Answer: This allows you to activate the Google analytics service. Therefore, it is necessary to verify that you are the owner of your website.

Add your site to the Google platform

You must first connect to your Gmail address.

Once on it, go to Google Webmaster Tools by clicking on this link.

If there is already a domain verified in advance, the Gmail space will display this visual. Just click on the domain in the selection bar and then Add the property.

Otherwise, the interface will give the hand directly to add the site to check, in the section Prefix of the URL.

The check starts.

Google will display the different ways of validation which are the following:

• HTML file
• HTML tag
• Google Analytics
• Google Tag Manager 
• Domain name provider

Just run the easiest or most familiar verification method for you, and carefully read what Google says.

Consequently, and once validated, you can manage your site via the proposed interface.

Check the ownership of a site created with Presence Builder

First, you need to follow the steps above to download the HTML file indicated by Google.

Secondly, go to your customer interface, which you can find on our this link.

Follow the menu Plesk.

Then follow the button My Plesk (Manage my Subscription).

Then, click on the section Presence Builder.

Then click on the tab Parameters > Advanced > Check website ownership.

Then, send the verification file you downloaded earlier.

The interface displays a message confirming that the file has been added. It is imperative to Publish the site so that the change can be applied.

Finally return to the Google page and click on the Validate then Finish for the application to be processed.
