In this guide, we will see how to Delete an email address.
This guide is dedicated only to our subscribers who have subscribed to the old shared hosting Plesk (SMART, DISCOUNT, PRO and SECURE offer).
The first thing to do is to go to your client interface which you can find the link to on our showcase site. Once there, click on Plesk > My Plesk (Manage my subscription) > menu Mail > Email addresses.
Check the email address in question, then click on the button Delete.
The action of deleting an email address is irreversible. Make sure you have your own backup copy before deleting.
The backup of an email address is done via an email program such as Outlook. You just have to configure the address in this software and export the emails to a file with the .PST extension. Consult the Microsoft help because the procedure changes depending on the version of the product. Place the .PST file (containing the backup of your e-mails) under your desktop so that you can easily find it later.
