In this guide we will discover how to search for applications and install them on your web hosting.
This guide is dedicated only to our subscribers who have subscribed to the former Plesk shared hosting packages (SMART, DISCOUNT, PRO and SECURE).
What is the point of looking for applications?
Instead of manually creating files, writing code, and developing a design for your website, you can install web applications that will do most of these tasks faster.
Applications such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal or others allow you to create a blog, an online store, a photo gallery, etc.
You will have the ability to install integrated applications with Plesk delivered that you can install in less than five minutes.
Plesk Access
You need to start by going to your customer interface, the link to which can be found on our showcase site. Once there, click on Plesk > My Plesk (Manage my subscription) > menu Websites & Domains > Application.
Click on All available applications.
Plesk will show you the most recommended and popular applications available.
You have an input field to write the name of your application.
The search will eventually give you the possibility to install the application you are looking for, as well as its different versions.
