Plesk: Manage emails sent to non-existent users

In this guide, we will see how to manage emails sent to non-existent users. Basically, the contact@VOTREDOMAINE address is not created, any mail sent to it will be delivered anyway.

Note

This guide is dedicated only to our subscribers who have subscribed to the former Plesk shared hosting packages (SMART, DISCOUNT, PRO and SECURE).

The first thing to do is to go to your client interface which you can find the link to on our showcase site. Once there, click on Plesk > My Plesk (Manage my subscription) > menu Mail > Email settings.

Check the domain name then click on Mails sent to non-existent users.

You can choose between :

  • Reject the email with a personalized message.
  • Send the email to an email address belonging to the domain that must be created in advance.
  • Reject the email completely.

Choose the option that suits you and validate.
