Plesk: Repair my MySQL database

In this guide we will see how to repair a MySQL database.

This guide is dedicated only to our subscribers who have subscribed to the old shared hosting Plesk (SMART, DISCOUNT, PRO and SECURE offer).

Why repair a MySQL database?

This is when you have an error on your website and you are sure that the database connection settings are correct.

Repairing a MySQL database

The first thing to do is to go to your client interface which you can find the link to on our showcase site. Once there, click on Plesk > My Plesk (Manage my subscription) > menu Databases.

There are two methods to repair your database.

First method

Follow the link Check and repair.

The task can take a long time if the database is too full.

Once the database is checked, Plesk will give you the result of the repair.

Second method

Follow the link phpMyAdmin.

Check the case Check all then select Repairing the table.

The interface will show you the repaired tables, as well as the tables that do not support the repair.
